Food for Thought!

I'm slowly getting into the ORGANIC way of eating.
Read an article that said best fruits/Veggies to buy organic are:
Strawberries, Apples, Peppers, Cucumbers and Grapes. Tried organic bananas and... Yuck!


Also, I've been reading about how our food is made and the strong connection between it and diseases like AD/HD, Diabetes and Cancer. Ummmm, it's enough to get me to change my eating habits and Mya's too. ( when she can eat solids)

It says things to watch out for: High Fructose Corn Syrup, certain Preservatives, Hydrogenated Oils and Aspertame. OH, don't get me started on Aspertame. Never trusted the stuff.

Maybe my paranoia comes from the work I've been doing for that past couple years w/ kids. I can say with certainty that there seems to be an increase of kids with behavior problems. It's got to be something in our environment and my guess is the food they are eating could be a major factor???
